Orchestra New England (ONE) is a professional non-profit orchestra serving the greater New Haven region in Connecticut. For nearly four decades we have produced top quality performances of orchestral music by well-known composers of the baroque, classical, romantic, and contemporary eras. The typical Orchestra New England concert costs $11,000 to produce. Our annual Colonial Concert costs nearly $19,000. On average, ticket sales cover only 35% of our concert production expenses – a statistic that remains true for many orchestras in the United States today. Individual donations currently support about 72% of our total operating budget. It is only through the generosity of people like you that Orchestra New England continues to thrive as an important member of the New Haven arts community.

Orchestra New England is one of the most cost-efficient arts organizations in Connecticut. The transition to an online marketing system has allowed us to dramatically reduce our paper usage as well as printing, postage, and other traditional advertising costs. The majority of your donation will be used to fund ONE musicians and staff directly.
